On Saturday the 22nd of February, the quiet of the Melbourne Royal Botanical Gardens was interrupted by a chorus of very excited Lapphunds singing the song of their people.
The weather was perfect for our short walk around the lake with several happy Lappies and their humans. Joined by a few prospective new owners, the Gardens provided a lovely backdrop to watch the puppies playing and dogs getting cuddles.
We try to plan these walks a few times a year to give people a chance to catch up with friends and Lappie-family. They’re also a wonderful opportunity for those who don’t yet have a Lappie to come and see them in all their fluffy (and noisy) glory, without the hustle-and-bustle of a dog show.
Our next event will be the Melbourne Dog Lovers Show from the 1st to the 3rd of May, followed by our Open Show over the Queens Birthday Long Weekend. We look forward to seeing you there!
